Our Team
Our Staff have received qualifications and training in Early Years Education and Care that include:
All our staff are fully qualified in a minimum of FETAC level 5. Our qualifications go from level 5 to level 9. We have 8 full time staff, 1 part time staff and 1 chef who cooks on site every day
Aoife Levingstone
Aoife is the manager at Square One Crèche and Preschool. She has over 13 years in childcare and over 10 years experience in management where she works in the office and is very involved on a daily basis with the staff, children and parents where she was the manager of a crèche in Cork for almost 5 years. She joined our team in January 2017. Aoife is qualified in FETAC level 5 & 6 and has a CACHE Dip in Childcare and Education. She is available to talk at any time should you have any queries.
Joan Carroll
Joan has worked at Square One for over 19 years. Joan has worked in all aspects of our setting and is the leader of the toddler room for the last number of years. Joan continues to train and keep up to date with the constant growth in childcare. Joan is FETAC level 5 trained and has recently completed training in Child Protection.
Margaret Ronan
Margaret is our dedicated Chef here at Square One. With over 15 years where she has served a lot of delicious meals to a lot of children. Margaret is fully trained in Food safety and food handling and continues to update her training.
Lorena Jimenez
Lorena is from Madrid in Spain. Lorena first moved to Ireland four years ago where she worked as an Au Pair and studied English. After two years as an Au Pair Lorena Joined us here at Square One over two years ago. She is the leader of the wobbler room and is FETAC level 6 trained. Lorena continues to study English and is always updating her childcare training.
Rebecca O Keeffe
Rebecca joined our team in October 2021 and works within all age groups but mainly with the wobblers and toddlers. Rebecca has worked in childcare for over 6 years and has a level 8 degree in Early Childhood care and Education. Rebecca traveled to Dubai in 2019 where she worked in a primary school teaching English for one year. Rebecca is very passionate about assisting children in exploring their environment and encouraging them to make the most of their world around them. Rebecca is available during work hours if you would ever like to chat with her.
Emer Lynam
Emer works in the Preschool room and is FETAC level 8 trained and is currently studying for her level 9. Emer has over 8 years working with children. She joined our team in 2017 and has continued to train in childcare bringing new ideas to our Preschool at all times.
Hayley Kelly Devaney
Hayley works alongside Emer in the Preschool room. She is trained in FETAC level 6 and has over 6 years’ experience working with children. She joined our team over a year ago. Hayley is great for attending workshops and any training that is being provided. She brings excellent ideas to the Preschool room, Hayley and Emer run a fabulous Preschool class.
Clare Slattery
Is mise Claire Slattery an Stiúrthóir i Naíonra Thús Maith. Tà Diploma agam sa luathoideachas agus tà caílíocht Stiúrthóra an Naíonra agam ó Fhobairt Naíonra Teoranta. Tàim mar stiúrthóir da Naíonra anois ar feadh ceithre bliana agus tá atmaisfeár dearfach trí mheán an gaeilge á spreagadh trasna an Naíonra. Bainim sult as an èagaúlacht a bhíonn i gceist le gach pàiste agus is mór an sàsamh a thugann sè dom na paistí óga faoi chúram an Naíonra a chloisint ag úsáid àr dteanga dúchais. Is leatsa í an gaeilge.
Marie Ring
Marie is the owner of Square One. Marie opened our doors over 20 years ago and has continued to expand. She is highly trained in childcare and brings many years of experience to Square One. Marie is very much so hands on in Square One and plays a vital role within the setting.
Sarah Kiely
Sarah joined our team in November 2020 and works with all age groups but is mainly within our pre school group. Sarah has worked in child care for the past 5 years and has a level 8 degree in Early Childhood Studie. Sarah is very passionate about watching children play, grow and explore their environments. Sarah is available during work hours should you ever want to chat with her.
