2. NCS (National Childcare Scheme) - is a scheme in which all parents are entitled to a minimum of €4 per day towards their childcare.

ECCE Scheme

This scheme provides two free years of early childhood care, before your child starts school. All children are eligible from the ages of 2.8 years to 4 years and seven months (on September 1st of the year are starting). The government pays for 38 weeks of the year for your child to attend. They will cover this cost, however, if your child attends any additional hours, you will pay the cost of this. We run an ECCE program from 9.15am-12.15pm 5 mornings per week for 38 weeks of the year.
